Duties:     The volunteer is expected to:

1. Work under the direction of the head dean supervising the spiritual, academic, physical, emotional, and social areas of the female high school students.

2. Enforce school and dorm policies as outlined in the school handbook.

3. Be on supervision duty on scheduled days, including evenings and weekends.

4. Supervise student workers (janitors, desk workers, and resident assistants).

5. Supervise evening study halls and other related dorm activities.

6. Assist the residents with problems and social interactions with one another.

7. Other duties may be assigned by the administration on an as-needed basis, including assisting in the cafeteria.

Lodging:   Volunteers will be provided with a furnished apartment inside the girl's dorm. All utilities and cleaning supplies are provided. The volunteer must bring her own bed sheets, pillow, and towels. MBA uses 110V electricity with American plugs.

Experience Required:   Experience attending or working at a boarding school is preferred. Experience working with high-school-age kids is preferred.

Minimum Education Preferred:  Bachelors
Concentration: Volunteers with majors in Education, Psychology, or related areas are preferred.
Trade/Skills: Experience working with high school students is preferred.

Additional Information
This is a full-time volunteer position which requires 40 hours of work a week. Primarily, this position is for the girl's dorm as an assistant for the deans. Secondarily, this position includes work in the Cafeteria as an assistant to the Food Director.
